What does a strong lesson actually look like from beginning to end—and how can AI help us plan one more efficiently? In this interactive session, participants will experience a complete lesson as learners while we pause along the way to unpack the instructional decisions behind it. We’ll examine how all the pieces work together to create effective teaching and learning. With secondary learners in mind, we’ll focus on designing rigorous lessons that move beyond content delivery to actively engage students in processing, applying, and demonstrating their learning. Then, we’ll explore how AI can support the planning process by helping teachers work more efficiently without replacing the expertise, judgment, and human interaction that make great teaching possible.
