Participants will explore how student-created norms can build trust, respect, and accountability before engaging in Socratic Seminar. By giving students ownership of the expectations for discussion, educators can foster meaningful student-led conversations, strengthen communication skills, and help students practice respectful, diplomatic dialogue. Participants will learn practical strategies for creating a classroom culture where students feel confident sharing ideas, listening to others, and engaging in productive academic discourse.
