About me
I have been teaching at Alamosa Elementary School for 14 years, where I currently teach Art and support GT Programming for students in grades 3–5. I graduated from Adams State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics, with additional emphasis in drawing and painting. I began my teaching career through the BOCES alternative licensure program and have since returned to Adams State to continue my education, including coursework toward an endorsement in mentorship. Outside of the classroom, I coach youth sports, work as a tattoo artist on the side, and still find time to create wheel-thrown pottery whenever I can. I am also currently serving as president of our local educators’ association after seven years as treasurer. I have spent my entire teaching career at AES and am proud to continue supporting our students through creativity, enrichment, and opportunities to explore their individual talents.
