About me
Elisamaria Heredia brings 25 years of experience with the Alamosa School District, where she has devoted her career to supporting Multilingual Learners. She is currently in her third year as an adjunct professor at Adams State University, teaching ED-240: Mathematics for Elementary Teachers in both in-person and online formats. In recognition of her commitment to education, Ms. Heredia was named a 2026 Colorado Teacher of the Year Semifinalist. She has also shared her expertise as a presenter at the State Parent Advisory Council Meeting, the Colorado Association of Latino/a Administrators and Superintendents (CO-ALAS), and the 2025 Rural COMTSS Summit.
