SLV Fall Educators Conference 2026

Hi! I’m Maria Fleming, a preK–12 art teacher and Innovation Lab Coordinator in rural Colorado. I’ve spent the last nine years teaching students of all ages and love finding ways to blend traditional art-making with technology, problem solving, and hands on learning. My work includes painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, fiber arts, graphic design, STEAM projects, and 3D modeling and printing.In my classroom, I focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where students feel supported, curious, and willing to take creative risks. I believe art can be a powerful tool for connection, confidence, and self expression.
