Travis is an Educator Recruitment and Retention Specialist with the Colorado Department of Education, where he has served since 2022. With more than 28 years of experience in education, he is dedicated to supporting students, educators and school leaders across Colorado. Throughout his career, Travis has served in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including superintendent, principal, teacher and coach. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges educators face at every stage of their careers. In his current role, Travis is passionate about strengthening Colorado's educator workforce by helping aspiring and current educators navigate pathways into the profession, understand Colorado's licensure requirements, and access scholarships, grants, and other funding opportunities to support their educator preparation and career goals.
